WordPress Plugins

Ich hatte bei anderen WP-Begeisterten eine Liste mit den verwendeten Plugins gesehen. Diese fand ich so praktisch und hilfreich, dass ich meine auch gerne veröffentlichen will. Meine Stars unter den Plugins sind der Comment Counter, die NextGEN Gallery und das XML Google Maps… probiert es einfach mal aus.

1. Akismet 2.2.3  Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments.” To show off your Akismet stats just put <?php akismet_counter(); ?> in your template. See also: WP Stats plugin. Von Matt Mullenweg.

3. Berri Technorati Reactions on Dashboard 2.1 Shows on the Dashboard the Technorati Reactions of your blog. Widget for the main admin page. Von Alberto Varela.
   Deaktiviert, weil das Plugin viel zu aufwändig und nutzerunfreundlich ist und nicht das erwünschte Ziel erreicht

4. ChCounter Widget 2.5.4 Integrate chCounter into WordPress as widget. Von Kolja Schleich.
5. Comment Counter 0.22 Shows the number of comments by a user on your blog Von ocean90.
6. Contact Form 7 1.9.5.1 Just another contact form plugin. Simple but flexible. Von Takayuki Miyoshi.
7. My Comments Elsewhere 1.0 Aggregates all comments you made on other websites back onto your own blog. Von Improving The Web.
8. NextGEN Gallery 1.2.1  A NextGENeration Photo gallery for the Web 2.0. Von Alex Rabe.
9. Search & Replace 2.5 A simple search for find strings in your database and replace the string. Von Mark Cunningham and Frank Bueltge.
10. Shutter Reloaded 2.2  Darkens the current page and displays an image on top like Lightbox, Thickbox, etc. However this script is a lot smaller and faster. Von Andrew Ozz.
11. WordPress.com Stats 1.4  Tracks views, post/page views, referrers, and clicks. Requires a WordPress.com API key. Von Andy Skelton.
    
12. WP Ajax Edit Comments 2.3.2.1 Allows users and admin to edit their comments inline. Admin and editors can edit all comments. Von Ajay D’Souza.
13. XML Google Maps 1.10.2 This plugin allows you to easily insert Google Map or Google Earth Plugin Maps into your blog. Supports KML, KMZ, GPX, geoRSS filelinks. Supports Default, Satellite, Hybrid, Physical and Google Earth Plugin Maptypes Von Patrick Matusz.
    Mit XML Google Maps werden nicht nur Google Karten eingebunden. Mithilfe der Nextgen Gallery können auch Fotos in Google Map eingebunden und mit einem Link versehen werden. Die Koordinaten müssen vorher mithilfe von Picasa und Google Eart verortet werden. Die Koordinaten werden automtisch in das jpg. eingebunden. Ein schönes Beispiel ist meine Foto-Blogroll.
14. StatPress 1.3.2 Real time stats for your blog Von Daniele Lippi.

15. FD Feedburner Plugin 1.4 Redirects all feeds to a Feedburner feed Von John Watson.
    Bindet Feedburner ein.
16. FeedBurner Feed Stats 1.0.5 A quick and easy way to view the stats for your FeedBurner feed. After activating the plugin, make sure to configure which feed you want to track. Von Jonathan Wilde.

17. Feed Statistics 1.3.2 Compiles statistics about who is reading your blog via an RSS feed and what they’re reading. Von Christopher Finke.
    Deaktiviert, da die Verlinkung im Feed nicht mehr stimmten.

18. Google Analyticator 4.1.1 Adds the necessary JavaScript code to enable Google’s Analytics. After enabling this plugin visit the settings page and enter your Google Analytics’ UID and enable logging. Von Spiral Web Consulting.

19. WP-Cumulus 1.21 Flash based Tag Cloud for WordPress Von Roy Tanck.
    Sich drehende, 3D Wortwolke wird mithilfe eines Widgets dargestellt.
20. Page Columnist A simple way to get single posts and static pages content arranged in column layout.

    Fügt einen Button unter einem Kommentar ein, dass man folgende Antworten per e-mail zugeschickt bekommt.

    Ein praktisches Plugin für das Dashboard. Wenn man mal schnell Titel, Datum, Tags etc. eines Artikels ändern wollte, musste man immer umständlich in den Artikel gehen. Jetzt kann man das direkt schon im Dashboard / Artikel Übersicht machen. Funktioniert sehr gut.

    Ein Seo Plugin, mit dem meine Artikel besser gefunden werden können. Ob es was hilft und mehr Besucher  kommen, wird die Zeit zeigen. Aber vielleicht liegt es gar nicht am Seo sondern an meinen Themen?

    Erzeugt automatisch eine Sitemap.xml. Ob das Plugin bestehen bleibt, wage ich zu bewzweifeln, denn seitdem ich es installiert habe, kommt oft ein Memory Fehler – weiß jemand warum?

    Blendet Suchwörter ein, mit denen die Besucher auf die Seite gekommen sind. Obwohl das Plugin schon ein paar Stunden läuft, hat sich noch nichts getan. Vielleicht dauert es aber 24 Stunden bis was passiert. Warten wir es ab.

    Plugin setzt einen Twitter Button unter den Artikel, mit dem dieser schnell weiter geflüstert werden kann.
30. NEU WP Smush.it – Reduce image file sizes and improve performance using the Smush.it API within WordPress.

    Reduziert Bildgrößen, ob es aber auch mit meiner Nextgen Gallery zusammenarbeitet, konnte ich nicht testen, in der Mediathek funktioniert es sehr gut und die Bilder werden nochmals zwischen 4 und 10% reduziert.
